In the French Street
3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
March 2009

This image is influenced by French architecture and one of my favorites Mr.Aleke BrazI must see his cg portfolio http://aleksbraz.cgsociety.org/gallery/

I compiled & visualized the whole scene and took some references from internet about door, windows design and colors theme that French people may have. I have completed this project so that I could enter into the next level of my 3D knowledge. I like architecture very much mostly the dirt ones...!

I used Photoshop just to manage the image size no post processing done for this image. I strict my self to maintain everything in max & VRay for this image.

High resolution texture painting, unwrapping, making & using normal and specular maps these all things i could learn out of this personal project..

Technical:
All texture I painted in Photoshop & raw textures used from cgtextures.com that site helped me a lot.

Everything modeled in 3D-Max 9 using poly-Modeling and I used v-ray render for rendering this scene.

Scene Setup:
To light up this scene I used one Key-light (Target Direct), and one VRayLight (plane) to high light the bench under the tree. I also used HDRI in VRay Environment and put a cloudy image as light projector map to create some realistic art effects and light variations.

My system could not let me use more displacement to enhance more quality that may need this image I believe.

Please spare some time to write your C&C that are most welcome.
